a boy because as a male I know what my daughter would have to look forward to when she got about 13 o14 with all us boys at that age, and before all was said and done I would have to kill a few boys if I had a girl. The guy I could knock some sense into him early.
I have done decided if I have a girl I am gonna have a shotgun mounted above my fireplace with a sign under it reading "Birth Control".

Definitely, a girl. They are cuter,,fun to dress, not as rambunctious as boys. The variety of clothes for boys is limited and more expensive. Girls are more loving, and devoted.
Then, there's the turbulent yrs of teenagehood
or adolescents. Boys tend to engage in drugs and get into more trouble because of peer pressure. Girls are more helpful around the house to do light housekeeping. Boys are expected to spend a lot of money on junior and
senior proms, and dating. There are more job fields for ladies, even though men make more.
Women ,generally run the families. And for every succcessful man, there's always a lady behind him. I rest my case.

I would prefer for my child to be a girl, because it would be easier bringing up someone of the same sex. It would be easy to talk to a girl about puberty-related things, because I would have gone through the same experience; I would really have to do my research and ask around in order to have enough knowledge about boys to have the same talk with one. But when I have kids, I will love my baby, no matter what gender.

I wouldn't care. Some people are not fortunate enough to have children and would be happy with a child of either sex. With both my pregnancies, I was convinced I was carrying boys, and got totally into the idea of a son in my arms. - both times I had girls. I love them just as much as I would have had they been boys.

I had 4 boys all ready, I think I'd want a boy if I could only have one, although I always wanted a girl. Now that my boys are grown, I'm thinking girls might have been more problems.

If I could only have - it wouldn't matter whether it were a boy or girl. Just be grateful that I have had the opportunity to let the Good Lord entrust me with his most precious gift. His Child.
