Not ALL women go through that stage, but yes many do. At this point I could care less about sex. I have NO libido what so ever. Kinda irritates my boyfriend, but he understands. Last month I couldn't get enough. I've still got 4 1/2 months to go, so I'll probably go through the whole thing again. The book "What to Expect When You're Expecting" has a great chapter on this subject. I'd recommend reading it.

it's different for all women i have been pregnant 3 times and with the first i was horny for first 3 months and again the last few weeks but with my 2nd i went totally off sex full stop!!!! the thought of it made me feel sick and it lasted for over a year after the birth! with the 3rd i was too tired to even notice, another strange thing i also noticed is i get extra horny during menstruation! maybe i'm strange but i reckon its fairly common. hope this helps xx

Yes especially if your man is hot and turns you on. That just adds to it. I was horny with my last pregnancy for the whole pregnancy. But the other ones just for the first 7 months. Then it started to get uncomfortable.

around my fourth month i started to get fairly randy....
too bad my husband was escorting a jet to Iraq!!
but, he came back a few weeks later;)
now, i'm about 4 wks from d-day and i can't think about it....just the thought makes me feel uncomfortable and squished. i think that's the baby fighting for room and i'm not interested in adding anyone else into my body! HA!

Such is the power of hormones :] How long it lasts is a mystery like most food cravings.
