On my brothers birthday one year, I don't live by him but that year I was out visiting and I went to his house and cleaned the crap out of it.... litteraly, hes not a slob but he works hard and a lot, so I cleaned his house and when he got home he was so happy he started crying and thanked me to no end... This is one thing I will never forget, it made me feel so good that he appreciated it so much.. I am just wanting to know what really gets you to appreciate others

I had just moved to Houston, and was looking for a job and apartment. I was having no luck on either end, not having a job, makes renting a apartment impossible. I checked this really nice complex out and the manager was having to do the leasing agents job, because she had just up and quit on them. I had never worked in the apt. industry before, but after the manager showed us around and told us about all the amenities, I asked if I could put in a application. He kindly took my application, but told me he needed someone with experience. The complex was very big. He called me a couple of days later, and told me he had filled the position with a more experienced person. I was disappointed, but told him, if in the future, if another position came open to please remember me, that I learn fast and would make him a great employee. Less than 24 hours later he called me back, and told me I had the job, and he would also furnish me a free apartment and a nice salary as well. He explained he knew how hard it was to get established in a large city, and he wanted to help me out and give me my first break. Which he did! I was all most broke and had no where to live when he stepped in and actually saved me, my husband and our 3 children. He was a "Angel" portraying a wonderful humanitarian.

Hmm the best thing someones ever done for me- I'd have to say, my husband puts up with my pets even though he's so very extremely allergic. All to keep me happy!

Well mine is alittle different, but mine is my ex didn't fight our divorce ,the only decent damn thing she ever did, although I think she regretted it,all those guys quit coming around when she needed them to help her with the bills and it wasn't free any more.
