Ask him for them back and explain that they have a lot of personal meaning.

If you can identify them, you may have to call the police end report them stolen if he doesn't want to give them back...

good luck

Texting is private and intimate. Texting is the perfect way to create a private and intimate world between you and the man or woman in your life. Learn here https://tr.im/EP3fd
For women in particular, texting can end up being a fun “game” where they can do or say anything (even things they would never do in the “real” world). Texting is non confrontational. Odds are your relationship ended on a heated note. I don’t know why you and your ex broke up, but there was probably at least one (if not a few dozen) big fights. Done properly (the way I’m going to teach you), texting is simple and subtle. You can slowly feed your ex tested and proven messages and ideas without the risk of either one of you flying off the handle, falling back into old and destructive patterns, and throwing plates at each other.

Firstly ask him one more time if he refuses then tell him that you are going to getthe police involved .Lodge a complaint to the police detailing when you gave him the rings ,size and stuyle of the rings and the dates on which he refused to return them ,after going to the police station go to a solictors offfice to get a solicitors letter ,This costs roughly 50 Euro ,Again detail everything in the solictors letter ,If the first two options do not work (I am sure they will) summon him to the small claims court (You do not need a solictor for this )

I was wondering, we have a court system of here in New Zealand where you pay around $20.00, and its called the displutes tribural, if they dont show, the case is your and they either would have to return the rings, or pay for what they are worth, talk to them, ask for them back, and see if you can do something like this good luck.

You will have to go through legal channels if he has already been asked for these rings. His mother sounds low class too, just like he is.

Good luck in getting them back. Next time your friend has a relationship, tell her to keep the rings hidden until she is sure of the guy.

the best way is to get into the legal matters of this. If you have asked for them and he refused to give them back to you, then you might need to take him to small claims court and you will need proof that these rings were not his. Make sure you got him by the balls when you take him to court and hit him hard here, and he'd wished he'd gave 'em back when you asked for them the 1st time.
Got it. Go forward and do it.

The person that the rings belong to should take him to court to get the issue resolved or to get the local authorities involved. But she better have a reciept showing that the rings were bought by her.

I agree with Merigold00.

Talk to him first and see if he will do the decent thing in returning them. If he refuses, tell him that you have no option but to get the police involved. Make sure you can describe them in detail and that you can prove ownership.

Good Luck

take him to court. either that find someone to beat him up and steal them back for you. Its violent, and terrible, but I think that is gonna be your best bet, either that...move on let the greedy Jerk have them...I have ran into that problem. I had a boyfriend that stole my Australian Opal Braclet with 10k diamonds. Plus he took my stuff that I cherished plus 300 dollars worth of CD's. No one would help. So I found him one night needing help...and I told him that I would help him if he gives me back my stuff....unfortunatley I only recieved 4 of my cd's back. I haven't recieved anything else. He pawned them for money to get himself drugs.

you don't want to involve the police, and you don't advocate violence.
I agree violence will solve nothing and the police being the right thing you do not wish to involve.
find yourself a solicitor who will write to him on your behalf, this quite often works in most disputes.
