I would be a marine biologist. The one that's in the ocean a lot, not just the lab. If it were a job I would just travel the world and slowly assimilate into every widely known culture until I was a worldly human being with great perspective. Then you could ask me about anything and I would think worldly and holistically instead of close-mindedly. I would have the 'earth' frame of reference instead of just the US or whatever. That's what I would do....

I would love to work in the medical field as a pediatrician. This has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl playing doctor at home and school with classmates. I went all the way with my imagination, dressing in the white coat with my clip board in hand, stethoscope around my neck and all the other tools with baby doll included. I love children and wanted to do research in finding cures for alot of these dieases children live with.

I would love to be a super international tourist guide with 6 fluent languages and just travel the known and the unknown world.

My job would be to get up and have all my darn bills paid so I can just be the most awesome Mom to my kids and not have to be in meetings and on trains and being a magician to pay bills with no money like I am living now. My dream is to just be able to pay my bills and spend quality time with my kids. Who needs a job. They all suck anyway.
But thinking about it: I would like to become a writer (novels, stories-non fiction)

Some kind of consultant position where I go in a handful of times a month, state my opinion and then leave with a crap-load of money. You know, the kind of job corrupt politicians get after they retire.

Be a caretaker for someone's estate who is never around, on a beautiful tropical island... provide fresh seafood every day, caught myself... Did I mention the mini-brewery in the back yard ??? Never could understand why Gilligan wanted off the island so desperately...

I would write music for sci-fi movies & tv shows. If I got a 'job' like that- it wouldn't seem like work for the rest of my life. Look out John Williams and Jerry Goldsmith!!!!

I'm already doing it , freelance writing. I can do it from home , I may not always make big money, but it's satisfying and I enjoy doing it. Besides being on yahoo answers often provides me with column ideas and or comic relief.
