Remember, you are only breeching copyright if you dont have the photographer's permission! If you need something for say a school project, or maybe a small community event or whatever, just explain to the photographer what it's for, ask nicely and I'm sure that in most cases the photographer would let you use the image for free! Also, I'm sure the copyright police wont come braking your door down when you use an image for say school homework. It may be an idea just to put the photographer's credit with the picture!
