People interpret religion so it becomes a reason for war. The true reason may be economic gain, political conflict, or hatred rooted from a long time ago. It's kind of like an argument you twist the facts so that you win. Or maybe countries just don't want to deal with different religions. I think it's partly the government's fault because ordinary people like us don't have a reason to hate other religions. I agree the point of religion is to be peaceful and live a conscience life, helping others, be content, and have faith, so there's no justification for basing wars on religion. Then there's also racism and people unwilling to change their views. This is a good question!

I would say that religion is one of the aspects of our identity that defines who we are, for example, Ireland is very much divided by religion - Protestants vs. Catholics. We see similar situations in other countries like Iraq with Sunnis, Shi'ites, and Kurds. The different religious groups in Ireland worship the same god, same as in Iraq but obviously they must all feel that their denomination of the religion is better than another. Also, some may feel that if they become involved in a war based on religion they will be dying for what they believe so then they become martyrs.

There might want to were 11 Commandments. The very last one being Do As I Say, no longer As I Do. and also you're proper. faith has led to more effective suffering than something else in mankind's history. after I see or listen someone talking about faith I on the prompt walk any opposite direction. they're both nut circumstances or severe difficulty.

That is much less true than it used to be. It is the ultimate hypocrisy though, to use religious belief as a basis for war. But isn't that the fault of people behaving like hypocrites, by misrepresenting their religion, rather than the religion itself being at fault?

Coz the pious are susceptible lemmings who'd fight to death for their religion when called for. I know it is unfair to generalize but these extremists are out there, ready to pounce when called into action.
