Its just unique because its in black and white. plus, its an account so unique and harrowing that every person on the planet earth know about (jewish holocaust). This is just a unique perspective. I do agree with you that munich was better. It even had that 70's sort of picture quality to it and the story line was brilliant. Terminal is great but did u see the war of the worlds? They all have one thing in common, The pictures and camera setting revolves around the imagination of a persons picture of that era. Who would want a hi tech colored film for "schindlers list"? Its the 30's and all the pictures on media that time was black and white.

Maybe the best drama but Munich and Color of Purple are really close.
Best Spilberg movies ar still: E.T., Raiders of the Lost Ark and Close Encaunters ...

"Jaws" and "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" are good. But my absolute favorite is "The Color Purple."
