To me, it is what makes a person who they are. Character includes the features that define who a person is, such as strength of will, respect for others, or postive attitude.

Hello!
A person can have a bad character as well as a good character.
I think what you mean, if I am reading you correctly, is a good character would be someone who does what they say they are going to do, speaks the truth (kindly), and stands up for what they believe in and the people that they love. In other words, a person who has INTEGRITY and treads on this earth lightly. Or a Buddhist - which ever comes first. LOL

Character is knowing what your principles and responsibilities are and walking the walk and talking the talk.
You are who you say you are , no game playing , no posing or pretending to be something you aren't.
You don't lie, cheat, steal, you have a reverence for life and all the people in it including yourself.
You can believe in something larger than yourself but you don't have to call it God , although it is the source of everything you do , think and are.
In effect you do more , you are more , and as you grow you learn more from the experiences you have both good and bad. You develop wisdom as you go through life and you try your best to share it positively although sometimes negatively can also be a tool. That's what character is.
