If he shoots his web on to the side of a building, why does he not in turn end up swinging down and smacking straight in to it instead of convieniently swinging in a perfectly straight line down the street??

Good question, and he probably should. Using muscle power, he swings in alternate arcs, not in a straight line. Yup, it's improbable, and I'd vote for the "hitting buildings" scenario too.

Because whenever he fires one webline and swings, he moves forward in an arc that leads towards the building his web is attached to. Once he has reached the farthest forward point in his arc that does not have him contacting a wall or similar obstruction, he releases another webline from the other arm towards the other side of the street. In effect, he "zig-zags", or more accurately, swings in 'S' formations. This is ignoring, of course, the fact that he is in New York City with plenty of structures to adhere to from beneath, which in this case, lets him swing in a perfectly straight line.

he doesn't swing in a perfectly straight line, the swing curves towards the building, he just has to shoot a web to a building on the opposite side to keep going forward

My guess is that because he's a spider, he can release a web in another direction, to swing in the other direction, thus missing the buildings, and go towards where he wanted to go. OR, he can jump from web to web, or building to building, since if you remember from the first movie he has the ablility to jump to things. Did that answer your question?

No. marvel explains Spiderman's awareness with the aid of having him bit with the aid of a radioactive spider. He can climb mushy surfaces as he has spider like hooks in his palms. His internet is a invention of his own. it is carried in packing containers on his hands and fires whilst a palm button is pressed. purely getting the internet to fly that quickly and lots is previous contemporary technologies. Even the dimensions barriers stops issues. the internet supposedly disappears in 24 hour. So no webs shop in the comics

Because he's smart, and he hits the web at the perfect angle of the building so he won't swing into it.

because its an action movie and no one is worried about how hes so about to swing into a building. i know what tyou mean though, but its not real so it doesn't really matter. if ya think bout it, i don't think Indiana Jones would survive after practically the whole world is against him, but he always does.

Cause of the angle he shoots it at. Also, right after he shoots one, he shoots the other hand out to keep balanced

Why did Leia kiss Luke in starwars, when in the next movie she supposedly "Knew all along" that they were twins. simply because the writer wrote it that way.
