I heard on a Detroit radio station that the original Van Halen may be getting back together in 2007. Anyone else hear the same rumour? Not sure if it was for a new CD or just a tour....?

That rumor has been in the mill for a few years. I think Eddie and Diamond Dave are just so far apart that it won't happen. Dave is just nuts.
As much as I love 'em and would like to see the show, I think they need to hang it up. VHIII was such a debacle.

Have been who knows how many rumours of Eddie and David Lee Roth patching things up, putting out a record and touring. I was a huge fan since they dropped "Van Halen" in 1977, but don't know how much new they have to offer to even justify another record together. Will believe it when I hear the first single off a new release...
