I remember, one day in the 1960s, a Life magazine article about a revival of 50's oldies music. I thought all those people dancing around in tight blue jeans, white tee shirts, slicked back hair were funny looking.
And these Oldies were about 10 years old!
Now, I sit, sifting through my iTunes library, intensely proud of my Ray Charles collection, Beach Boys albums, the Hollies, the Turtles, Sam the Sham, Kingston Trio, Pete, Paul & Mary, Paul Revere and the Raiders, and on and on ...
And this stuff is 40 YEARS OLD!
I'm not old, but my music certainly is!

The first time I heard a song on an oldies statio, I did. But now I'm glad there are stations that still play that music. Hearing it makes me feel like a teenager again.
