Oh, dear god. What is she, a vitamin salesman?

Okay. A mulivitamin for women is always a good idea. Any brand will have the important stuff: A, C, E, B6, B12, potassium and calcium. That's it.

The best nutrition comes from a healthy diet. Vegetables are key. The healthiest are anything dark green (spinach, broccoli, collard greens, etc) or bright orange (carrots, squash, sweet potatoes). But whatever you can eat (many teen girls are picky) the better. Potatoes (they're better if you can eat the skins too), peas, green beans, tomatoes, culiflower, peppers, lima beans, corn, etc.

Fruits are delicious and healthy. Banannas are about the healthiest out there. Also good are peaches and nectarines, apples, pears, strawberries and blueberries. Juices are a good source of fruits, but be sure they say 100% juice on them If you buy them frozen, they're very affordable. Pomegranite juice is a very popular and very healthy trend. It's full of antioxidants, which may prevent kidney stones, UTIs and even some types of cancers. (Some people find it too heavy. Try mixing in some sparkling mineral water to lighten it up.)

And don't forget milk. A teen's future tooth and bone health is being determined now. Drink lots of milk, eat yogurt and cheese.
