No, Leave the Constitution Alone. Once it is altered it will be a slippery slop to ruining one of the finest documents ever written as a foundation for a republic.
A few years ago in California, there was some mention of getting a petition started to amend the natural born citizen ruling regarding a Presidential candidate.
It was quickly put aside when people began wondering if their potential candidate could even do his job as Governor.
To some it did not matter that his father served in the German army in world war11 . To others it didn't matter that he had for years made his living posing nude for Gay publications. What did matter was, he was so vocal in calling others 'girly' men , when he wasn't so choosy when he needed a fast buck.
What matter to many of us was that if the Constitution could be changed for a jerk like him, when we all ready had a numbskull in office, our country would be in even more trouble!

I doubt that idea will ever fly, considering how difficult it is to change the Constitution. But what if someone born in Puerto Rico, the United States Virgin Island (or another of our commonwealths) wants to become President? The Constitution doesn't address that.

It's the law, and it worked just fine for a long time, so why change things now. We all know the saying," If it's not broke, don't fix it ".
