Yes, I sometimes watch old movies. I don't watch them for the styles but because many of them were so well done. I am particularly fond of the old suspense movies.
One of my favorites is Rebecca. I still pleasantly remember the shock I felt when Maxwell revealed the truth about Rebecca!!
Two other great movies are My Cousin Rachel and the Snake Pit.

"All Quiet on the Western Front" from 1930 is one of the greatest movies of all time.
The Marx Bros. had some brilliant comedies like "Duck Soup" and "A night at the Opera" that are worthwhile.
And I have a soft spot for both "Citizen Kane" and "Casablanca."
They were great films.

Yes, some of the best movies ever made are from those two decades. "Citizen Kane", "Gone With The Wind", "Casablanca", "Witness for the Prosecution", and many, many more.

Prefer them to the sex, blood and blow 'em up epics we get these days, and at least people could act in those days.
