Wales is a principality and Prince Charles is the Prince of Wales. He has held the title of Prince of Wales since 1958, He will become King of the commonwealth when the Queen dies so at that time he will become the King of Wales technically speaking.

There is no King of Wales only a Prince. To be Prince of Wales you have to be the first born son of a reigning British monarch.

There is no such title as King of Wales.
There is a Prince of Wales but no King since they are under United Kingdom sovereignty.

There is no kingdom of Wales.
There is a Prince of Wales, who for the past few centuries has always been a foreigner and has never lived in Wales.
Seems a bit pointless really.
