We all know we're gonna die, but none of us knows when.
We all know we have the ability to live, but so often we choose not to do it as fully as we should. Just remind yourself, when you are worrying about the end of the world, that there are only so many things you can control in life (such as how you approach your day, how stable your home life is, the individual choices you make each day) and make a decision to consciously, purposefully enjoy at least one specific moment each day. You might find life suddenly becomes a lot less scary, and a lot more rewarding!

Only when I read the newspaper, watch the news on TV, or listen to the news on the radio.

But: end-of-the-world thoughts have probably been common since the dawn of time.

i think about the end of the world and i agree with you the way the world is getting and what i have read in the bible i believe it too....but we do not know when christ will come again so all we can do is be ready for him when he comes...this world is fastly decaying....but if we are christians there is not really any reason to be afraid because we should believe the word of god and know that we have the promise of the home in heaven... i think about all those so lost and not even thinking or believing in god or the bible....even some of our own loved ones....all we can do is pray... i am not perfect, no one is perfect so we can not judge...but i pray gods will be done...and i seek the home in heaven....i try and live for god and not really live with what people are doing these days in this world....i live in the world but i am not of this world...i want to go to heaven... my life on this earth has been with many trials and i have sought to live for jesus...

I do. I don't think about the religious aspects so when I think about it I'm thinking about the death of the sun. Humans probably wont be around then, but the Earth will be turned into molten rock as the sun expands. You shouldn't worry.
