Don't give him any money. He doesn't care if you are able to feed the kids or not so his behind can sit on the floor instead of a cushy couch.

No dearie....tell him he can sit on the floor or better yet in the trash can!!
...if he cannot support his own kids, then why the heck should you help him in any monetary fashion!
