the blue screen for wallpaper isn't a loss of driver, just a missing bmp (bitmap)

Just right click on your desktop, wherever there isn't an icon.
Select Properties
Switch to the Desktop tab.
Here, you can select the wallpaper of your choice.

The one you used to have is probably still in the list.

You have not lost a driver. Just right click on the desktop and choosse properties and reset your wallpaper.

If you want a driver go to the makers website. But monitor's can use the default windows driver and have a wallpaper with no problems.

Sounds like what you might have done is changed your wallpaper to a blank screen. Right-click anywhere on the desktop, select properties, click on the Desktop tab. There will be a lost of picture you can select to be your wallpaper. Or you may "browse" to a picture of your own. Is that what you are trying to do? (Sorry question is not very clear)
