What is the normall age to get your first bra. My step daughter doest want one but she need's one and she's ten. Please help

That is the time that I got my first sport bra I wear that then i realized later I could start wearing other one but maybe start with a sport bra I start wearing on when I was 9

about 9-10 depending on the kid...mines 9 and no where in need of one. If she is not liking the idea, try a sports bra type or an undershirt at least. let her know that the boys can see her "buds" through her shirt and she will not like that idea! she will cover up for sure!!
it is one of my pet peeves as a parent for others not to take care of this issue! there are so many perverts in this world today, that we need to take precautions such as these. besides...who wants to see little girls buds anyway!! thank you!

I got my first bra at 11.
It was training bra..and I would usually take it off during school... maybe you should try just a sports bra, or a tank top that has the built in support.

I got mine at 9 i think but thats because i developed really early. However that isnt so great, i am 19 now and only am as tall as I was at 12. Bras help boobs from sagging so tell her that

There really is not a "normale age" whenever she gets boobs, no matter how small is when she should get her bra. But if she had no boobs that you might want to have have here were a traing bra.

i got my first bra in 5th grade. but maybe i was an early riser :) you should get your bra when you start to develop. age really does not matter. i have friends who still do not wear a bra. lol.

I'm I got mine around 8 ( I wanted to be older )
But I didn't need one untill about 10

haha i "needed" one at ten but didn't one one either. anywhere from 9-13. it should be the girls choice. she'll know when she's ready n needs one.
