cardboard. my question is is there an organization that is interested in donating a compactor or the money for a compactor so this store would not waste basically the equivalent of like 2 trees a week, 4 for when we get seasonal trucks

I am not sure where you live, but many larger communities have organizations that will handle/pick-up your recycling for you. If you and your co-workers flatten and tie up the boxes, then I am sure you can find a environmental group or recycling program that will pick them up regularly. I would contact the chamber of commerce and the sanitation department of your city to find out more. Also, you may want to tell your boss that there are some tax breaks for businesses who are involved in recycling programs.
