Boric acid, a powder, is a great method to use for killing roaches. Not the kind made for killing roaches, but the boric acid you will find in a pharmacy works. It won't kill them immediately, but it works every time. Put it down wherever you see them the most, especially in cracks and crevices and it will be game over for the roaches. You won't see noticeable results quickly, but it is one of the few proven methods that works.

The best thing I have found is called 'combat source kill'
It is about 8 or 12 in a pack. They have them for large or small roaches, but I always get the ones for large roaches cause they last longer before I have to buy more. There are different names besides 'source kill' with the same 'combat' brand, but they don't work.
I put 8 all over the kitchen and I have seen hardly any in about 9 months. (there are very few I see)
I have tried the boric acid powder, 3 different brands of the spray in a can, roach motels (didn't stick, they crawled back out) , about 5 brands of the large spray jugs. Nothing worked for me but the combat 'source kill' traps.

First, make sure any food you have out is wrapped, or placed into a container. Make sure your cupboards are crumb-free (check where you keep your toaster especially!) and clean well under your stove. Remove the bottom drawer if possible.
Then go to Home Depot and purchase product that fogs the inside of your house and follow directions carefully. You can follow this with a spray that is safe for inside and outside your house to prevent further infestation.
