This is an overstatement. He is an extremist, but I don't think he'll be constructing any concentration camps any time soon.

True, he's extreme left, better compare him to Stalin (although that too would be an exaggeration).

Unfortunately some people believe the propaganda they are subjected to, and never bother to research the Honorable Hugo Chavez.

The USA has lost it's credibility, and is losing it's stranglehold on the rest of the world.
Hugo Chavez is a clear example of what can be achieved when countries disregard their orders from Washington:-
Over 17 million people now have access to free health care and medicines for the first time.
Over 1 million people taught to read and write.
Participation encouraged for all Venezuelans in the formation, implementation, and operation of their democracy.
Venezuela has become truly, a democracy of the people, by the people and for the people, after years of US intervention and suppression.

But of course the people in power in the USA have labeled Chavez a terrorist, communist, dictator, etc. etc.

And, who could forget, Venezuela has oil, lots of oil, enough to bring prices down.

Around the world, whenever an alternative political systems have emerged they have been brutally crushed, or isolated by our ruling elites for what they call "the threat of a good example"

No. Although the two are pretty different, considering Mussolini great ineptitude and at least some success initially by Hitler.

... the subsequent... Hitler. Out of all and sundry you may desire to wisely become responsive to Hugo Chavez with.. you chosen Hitler. final time I checked, he wasn't down there screaming approximately "THE JEWS!!! THE JEWS!!!" Or strengthen an empire, for that count.

I think Hugo Chavez is a brave man who is not afraid to speak his mind. He points out the horrid practices of this country (USA) and I have great respect for him because of it. I do not know much about him otherwise, but as I said, I appreciate his views on the Bush administration.

Isn't he a communist? I'm not sure. If so, Hitler and Mussolini the antithesis to communism.
