Man, that's a hard question. There are so many on my list. Gone With the Wind is great. Pulp Fiction, too. I just saw Little Miss Sunshine and that was excellent. It has everything in it-drama, comedy, etc. Grave of the Fireflies is an excellent anime. I cried for half and hour straight after watching it. Definitely the saddest movie, ever. I'll leave my answer with this...anything by Studio Ghilbli.

The Warriors was awesome!
I saw it once on TNTs MonsterVision back in the 90's - Joe Bob Briggs explained everything about it - the path they took through Manhattan was the same path a lost legion took around the Mediterranean and whatnot. There was much more to it than I would have thought.

Goodfellas with Robert DeNiro, Joe Pesci, Ray Liotta and Lorraine Bracco with Paul Sorvino. All based upon the life of Henry Hill and Jimmy the Gent, by Martin Scorsese and Nicholas Pileggi.

"The Warriors" was a great movie, wasn't it?
I really don't have any one particular favorite, though. So here's a list of some of my favorites.
"The French Connection"
"Patton"
"Unforgivin"
"Deathwish"
"Papillon"
"The Godfather"
"Young Frankenstein"
"Blazing Saddles"
"A Shot In The Dark"

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Gene Wilder was a hilarious mad man. The special effects were ahead of their time and any movie with Ompa Loompas has to be the best.
