run of course and give it back, would make me feel so much more happy, and no guilt that wouldn't allow me to enjoy it anyway. Plus, the other person will have more faith in this world, which, possibly will make the other person more honest, e.t.c

That has actually happened to me, and I gave them the tenner back. The best bit is he gave me a £5 for my honesty.
Winners all round. He didnt lose £10 and I gained £5

If I saw them drop it, I would obviously know who it belonged to and I would return it to them - no hesitation. However, if I found a tenner lying on the street, I would adopt this abandoned currency, and when it was ready I would rehome it at the shops!

I would have to run after them and give it back, i couldn't just take somebody else's money. I saw someone drop a five pound note a couple of years ago in London and i went running after them, they gave me the money just for running after them, as a thank you.

I would run and give it them back if I saw who dropped it. However, if money was on the floor and I didn't see who dropped it, I would keep it.

At one time of day I would have given it back. But recently my opinion has changed, as I have lost 2 mobile phones & had another one stolen and none of them recovered. In the meantime I have found two mobile phones (on bus seats) and handed both in. But sadly I think I am in a minority group when it comes to doing the decent thing & more &more I tend to think that if you cant beat em join em

Give it back.
I even tracked someones down and delivered a back pack and purse I found in a parking space.
Much more than 10 bucks, cash, ID,credit cards, disney passes, concert tickets, etc. . They couldnt believe it and offered to buy me dinner.
I was just glad to help out.
Thats why Im here.
