I never wore maternity clothes with my second pregnancy. I just bought some very stretchy knit pants and a few tops that were a size larger and made sure that they were long enough. Go to Target and get some basic maternity pants (they have some cute ones), they also have some cute tops.
If you are a small person, this shouldn't be a problem. If you are a plus size, check out the Lane Bryant CATALOG and find some tops that will work for you. They also have dresses that are long and loose.
If you have a friend who was recently pregnant, ask her if you could borrow some maternity clothes. Most women will gladly hand over their maternity clothes to a friend, unless they are planning to be pregnant again right away.
Also -- don't be afraid to go to the Goodwill or DAV stores. You can find some great bargains there.

Ebay! I'm a seller on ebay - and love to buy & sell clothes on there. When looking for maternity clothes - always make sure you're doing a search with either "new" or "nwt" (new with tags) items, because you don't want to buy stretched out pants worn by another person!

I also buy stuff at a store called Destination Maternity. It's a Motherhood & Mimi Maternity store, all in one. They also have personal shoppers, to help find your style & taste of clothing.
Old Navy also has a great maternity line - however their actual stores are still pilots so maternity departments are hard to find and few between. I buy old navy maternity on ebay too. Or, I get babydoll tops in a size or two larger than I normally would. Most babydoll tops work great for pregnancy!
When buying jeans - if you want jeans that don't look like pregnant jeans, get the no-panel kind. Later on, when you're belly is bigger - I have found that the under belly panels have the best support. for tank tops - get the kind that has a built in bra.

I went to resale baby clothes stores and found alot there actually and some really cute stuff! I didn't wear maternity jeans because I hate them I just used rubberbands on my buttons and wore maternity shirts or regular ones with sweats and about an inch of my belly would show...but yea resale shops are good because people take stuff there that is fairly nice because they get money or credit for it and they don't take stuff that isn't nice. They can't sell it.

E-Bay. My sister got all kinds of clothes, not maternity but i'm sure they have it, they have everything. She got shirts for less than a buck. Try that. People probably have lots to give away. Outside of online stores, try second-hand stores and places like Walmart have cheap clothes. and search the clearance racks at regular stores and just buy a bigger size.

Try ebay! A lot of woman will sell perfectly good used and even new maternity clothing cheap. You can even get a lot of clothes to make up a whole wardrobe for yourself. You will, however, need to set up an account with them and verify your email & bank info. Good luck!
