My boyfriend has had a bad case of tonsillitis lately and he's blaming it on the fact that he gave me oral sex. It was the only time he gave it to me and he only did it for a few minutes. :( I've been tested for all STD's and am clean. He still blames it on his giving me oral sex.

Actually i can say yes it can. i will tell you why. When we have extra yeast we ladies often get a white discharge. This discharge is a type of fungus (also found in mushrooms) this is the same type of fungus that grows in peoples throats when they get a throat infection or tonsillitis. I used to have an ex that carried an infection fungus in his throat and after lots of kissing I used to get tonsillitis all the time!

most probably women may get tonsillitis but severe cases to men. maybe he has a flu or maybe a cold. if you want oral sex, try to clean up or use feminine wash first.

he has no right to blame you!! he enjoyed doing it!

Yes, it can , definitely if your partner is having some infection of his genitalia, even there is a risk of getting sexually transmitted disease like syphilis or gonorrhea affecting your tonsills.Get your partner investigated thoroughly for any infection of his genitalia.
