Assuming it has Wi-Fi capability, it certainly can. All you need is the laptop and a wireless router to share the internet connection to your laptop and whatever other computers you have connected.
Just make sure to enable encryption on the router so your neighbors don't start leeching off of your internet connection.

Yes, but it will depend where your wireless signal is coming from. If you live in an old house, with thick walls and ceilings, sometimes the signal will struggle to find your laptop and your connection will drop.
If you live in a modern house, the walls will twnd to be thinner, so you should be ok. Our laptop can be used all around our house wirelessly.

Yes if you have broadband or cable you can get a wireless router. Make sure your laptop comes with a wifi card.
