Solomon is alleged to have asked for wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Maybe we all should. But instead of just asking, we could do well to seek them. That is the problem that atheist face. Christians hate them for their determination to seek answers.

Christians and atheists are just being human. One relies on faith the other relies on science. I think living in a society where we have the freedom, of free thought, one should be able to express their beliefs without people jumping all over them. That after all, is what this journey we all are on, is all about. Seeking answers to our questions.

First of all a True Chrisitian is not going to hate an atheist.
The Lord says to love your enemies and pray for those that despise you... that is what the Lord wants us to do, ask for wisdom but at the same time seek them... the Lord doesn't expect a christian to go trying to make arguments over religion.
Yes the Lord will give you wisdom which is above any mans knowledge. Atheist believe what they want to believe, and they try to back up with the word of the Lord, but if you know the bible and understand it... The non believers do not have a place in heaven.. where they go from there... ask a atheist, and have him/her back it up...the funny thing with nonbelievers they are first one to jump in line to argue a point, with nothing to back it up with... you can find answers you are searching for in the King James Version.. start from Genesis and end with Revelation.

I don't agree with you assessment of the general intelligenge of any group much less these two............
Solomon was Solomon and there was a reason for his Knowledge.......WISDOM
CORRECT ...We should all seek wisdom....knowledge and understanding would follow......
Why do you insist that Christians Hate Atheists?
I don't think that is an accurate statement.......
It would be a better assessment that these two groups have philosophical differences....They don't agree on many ,many points..........

Christians are Christians and atheists are atheists. You have smart people you both groups. Many Christians are also very determined in the search for answers. Look at the life of Sir Arthur Eddington, for instance. Or Herbet Butterfield.

Christians do not hate atheists, it is just the opposite. Christians care for the atheists, but also for the children that the atheists would lead to hell.
It is important to know that Christians do hate evil. Because there is Truth, and to love it is to hate evil, we'll be found doing so.
Some atheists are so because of ignorance, but some are so because of rebellion. They writhe against the Truth, and spew hatred in the face of anyone who would do good on account of the Lord.
But what good thing comes from the work of the atheist?
What enduring contribution?
What hope?
What beauty?
It is but an ugly thing of no value.
As for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord.

People can be smart or an idiot no matter what thier religion is. And everything depends on how you measure intelligence like atheist are smart because they don't belive in something just beacuse someone told them to, but they are stupid because they don't celebrate holidays wich thier children miss out. well that is my opinion anyways, so there is no true answer to this question it is all your own opinion.

christians are ignorent by default. Ignorance is bliss is it not? If they actaully seeked answers they would find the TRUTH and then would lose their faith.

It depends how they do in math class. If Christians score better than atheists in math, then I think that makes them smarter.
