I found a 1941 Jefferson 5-Cent Nickle in with my change. It has no mint letter and is in good condition. Is it rare and valuable?

Sorry but it is a common nickel, even in mint state they are worth only a few dollars, unless they have what is called full steps. This is a relatively new thing that popped up a few years ago. Collectors noticed the steps on the reverse of the coin were sometimes better than others of the same date. Mintage's were 203,283,720 for the Philadelphia mint, 53,432,000 for the Denver mint and 43,445,000 for the San Francisco mint.

1941 nickel is $0.20 in very fine condition
and up to $0.75 in uncirculated condition.

It is not rare 203,265,000 were minted.

The mintmark would be located on the reverse next to the building on the right.
