Denied boarding is allowed for many reasons.....are you within the checking time limit.

If the flight is overbooked, and you are late then seat is cancelled even if it is reconfirmend. If that is not your fault
every airline practises DNB Offer. So you will be given choice to choose. Then your are lucky.

YES all airlines have the right to oversell the flight. If you are one of the last to check in and get a boarding pass you may be denied boarding.

of course they cant recontirm the tticket of ok , they should do it, yet some airlines dont require reconfirmation
