I wrote my own set of philosophical rules and discoveries, and called them, 'The Principles of Prometheus'. I'm sometimes suprised when I see that someone else has hit upon the same ideas, even though I know I shouldn't be - if they were true, a lot of people would have figured them out, right?

As for religion, I'm a polytheist. Every time I have personal experience with a god, I add him, her, or it to my pantheon. I have five so far. One of them, which I call Ra, seems to trump most of the other gods I've ever seen or heard of, and another one which I call Diedre is only concerned with me, really. The others may have other disciples... I'll even go so far as to say that they probably do... but I can't say I've ever really met another one like me. But that's okay. I don't mind!

There are thousands. I doubt I could describe all of them. There's a list at Wikipedia, though I'm sure it hasn't listed EVERY single religion. Plus, there are religions that've died off, I don't know if you wanted to know about those.

Oh, by the way, I'm an atheist. No, that's not a religion. I'm not sure which philosophies I might adhere to since... well... I don't know much about philosophy. I plan on taking a few courses in the Fall, though.

The only thing I can fully believe in is trying to make people's lives better. Religions I have encountered seemed a form of hegemony or escapism. I think people have more power by believing each other than by worshiping a common deity.

There are many religions. I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses. We are monotheistic Christians. We firmly adhere to the Bible. If you wish to gain an accurate understanding of our teachings the best thing you can do is go to a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. If this is currently not doable then I suggest you go to our official website http://www.watchtower.com

Way too many to list. Here's a fairly good list:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_religions

I'm... well, I'm confused. I want to be Buddhist, but I'm just not a very good person, so I'd never be any good at it. And sometimes I believe in God, in a Deist sort of way.

Uh, as many as there are or have been people in the world, of course. Mine is hard to explain, but the major tenets involve dancing, music, sex, human nature, and a strong affection for the gods of irony.

To many to count.

I am not in a religion, I believe what I believe. I don't have time or patience for hypocritical people in an organized religion.
