Perhaps John Mark Karr is not the killer of JonBenet. This case had more media attention than any other murder in the past decade. Karr looks like a Mr. Rogers wannabe and has a rap sheet that reads like a short story novel. He is guilty of some nasty stuff, of that I am sure. The Ramsey parents were the main focus of investigation for years because evidence suggested no broken entry and the hand written ransom note on Patsy's note pad. Maybe, Karr is confessing to this crime falsely in order to avoid facing charges in Thailand. If indeed he is the true killer of JonBenet, every authority involved in the investigation of her murder is at fault for overlooking him if he was in their neighborhood at that time.

JT, I'm also towards your direction. Six year olds cannot properly clean and groom themselves. I find it difficult to believe that a mother who allegedly spent so much time grooming her beauty queen daughter would not notice repeated sexual abuse of the same daughter. If Mark Karr was truly involved, we probably would be hearing of a love triangle (in which case, the Boulder agents would have overlooked in an attempt "to preserve the dignity" of the Ramsey family).

it's easy to point fingers when we only have the media's version of events and we all saw what the media did to this child and her family for the last 10 years....we live in a country where the accused is innocent untill proven and not the other way around... just because he says he did it, doesn't mean that he did do it. look how many people confessed to killing Elizabeth Short, LA's notorious Black Dahlia case in 1947. he certainly could have done it but let's wait until there is actual evidence. this guy could be just a sensation seeker or simply looking for a way to get a free plane ride home from Thailand.

I didnt know he lived in the neighborhood. I guess mor details are coming out little by little. I was just sitting here wondering how he was in Colorado if the family knew him from Ga. But what was he doing in the house? Why was he comfortable enough to write a 3 page ransom note in the home and also murder her in the home? You have to be mighty bold to do that. Didnt he have any fear of getting caught? I am anxious to see what else he has to say.

because the world focused on the parents and still believe the parents had something to do with it ! but the main reason is there was no broken entry or forced entry which put the parents as suspects!! so who let him in or how did he get in?/ is the question i want answered right away!!
the same with the OJ CASE! they stopped looking for the murderer and WHY!! the world believes OJ DID THE MURDERS!!
hay i want to know who killed them and why and have you noticed you hear nothing about this any longer usually if you don't convict or find the peepetrator you continue to seek and find if possible the perp!!

He slipped through the cracks because they were focusing on her parents the whole time. I agree with you, they should have investigated the neighborhood.

Because he was nowhere near Boulder, CO when she was murdered.
How did Patsy Ramsey get away with murdering her daughter?
We'll never really know, I suppose.
