I have pcos and my husband has a low sperm count do u think they will give me clomid to see if that is all we need.

It's possible, but usually they try some other medications with PCOS like metformin first.
you'll have to discuss all the options. they sometimes do allow clomid in women who aren't having a big issue but the partner has a low count with the thinking that if you have more than one target there is a better chance a swimmer might hit the target :)

All clomid does is regulate a woman's ovulatory cycle if this is the problem preventing pregnancy. You would probably need metformin or some other fertility drug to combat the PCOS and then your husband would need to see a urologist and maybe consider IVF or IUI to better the chances of conception. Clomid would probably up your chances but your husband needs some type of med too.

Clomid is for women who have ovulation issues, it has nothing to do with the man. You can ask them and depending on how "by the books" your doc is, he may try it just to see if it works

sounds like to me that they will send him to a urologist for testing the only reason they would put you on clomid if the gyn thinks that you are infertile or having problems ovulating.
