Why has France been involved with the UN cease-fire settlement with the U.S. to reach a deal between Hezbollah and Israel? Is it because of their role in the UN or does it have something to do with their former relationship with Lebanon?

France and other members of the UN operate under the delusion that France matters.
It may have had something to do with their former relations but the french are consumate cowards and they are already backing out of this new resolution.
I loathe the UN I wan them out of our country, they are nothing but socialists and communists.

Now they want to cut and run....once they found out they might have to actually shoot bullets to ensure compliance they want to cut their forces down to like 200.
