There's a proper name that the letters are the abbreviations of the amino acids (an acronym), but I don't recall the name. Sorry, I'm 3 years out of biochem

yup, 20 amino acids are grouped according to thier charge. There are 2 amino acids which are positively charged and 3 aminoacids which are negatively charged. the rest will be neutral.

Write them out as many times as you can...it's the only way I could do it....Biochem is a fun class isn't it

write them down/draw them out REPEATEDLY. This is guaranteed to work.
