Sounds like a money question to me and less about class. To become an architect you need a Bachelor's degree, a Master's degree and have to complete a 9-part registration exam.
So yes money is a factor, but that is why there is student aid and scholarship opportunities. If you are passionate about the field, go for it, and worry about the money later.

Follow your dreams irrespective of your class/race. You may have to work very hard so that you can get a scholarship because your parents might not be able to afford it. Be what you wanna be and it begins with having a dream. All the best.

what does your family income have to do with your career choice...unless college becomes a financial issue, but you have not expressed that.

stop trying to choose what your family would like, and focus on yourself.......you'll be the one having to show up at that job for the rest of your life,,,not your family
