now this guy is saying that he drugged her. They found no drugs in her system. I don't know if I believe this guy. And his ex wife is saying that he was with her in Alabama when the killing happened. I think he may be some nut. Maybe somebody that was obsessed with the case.

I dont think so. He knows too much. Also sometimes the police hold out some facts to help weed out people that want to confess. Maybe the drug thing was like that. Only the real killer would know about the drugs.

It doesnt make any sense to me. The guy feels comfortable enough to sit and feed her pinapple in the kitchen? (if he's the one who fed it to her). What was he doing in Colorado anyway if they knew him from Ga? What is his connection to the family? If you wer going to kidnap or murder someone would you sit at the scene of the crime and write not only a ransom note but a 3 page long one? There are so many questions. And why would the ex-wife provide an alibi now. I could see if she was still married to him but obviously it didnt work out so why would she care to provide an alibi?

Perhaps I just watch too many TV movies, but my recurring idea is that the father is paying this guy mega-$$$ to take the fall, and he'll use his connections to cut him some kind of odd deal in prison.

This whole case just gets weirder by the year.........

Other countries don't always follow the same rules regarding getting a confession through interrogation that the US does. I wonder what he'll say after he's back in the US.

Could very well be that he is just a nut job. He has had ten years to learn about the murder. DNA is the only way to tell for sure.

I thought that he was lying also. None of it really makes sense. I still think her family had something to do with it.

Somthing doesn't seem right about that guy, indeed he is creepy looking, but just can't seem to believe he's the one who did it.
