Absolutly. Many time these things (homosexuality) is an adolecent phase, they pass and people resume a heterosexual relationship. You cannot change them this will be a change on the persons own. And its not a consious change, it just happens. Juts like a heterosexual truning gay.
-I am gay!

You have the concept a bit skewed. The homosexual is a heterosexual who has a conflict within his/her MIND that causes the individual to believe [delusionally] that he/she is homosexual.
The issue is not the confusion of ones sexuality, but is more deep- seated and has one of two causational factors behind the confusion. One is a fear/hate of the sex opposite ones own, or while an adolescent with confusion regarding ones sexuality, one is seduced by an adult homosexual and told that one is homosexual. There is considerable self loathing [at a non-conscious level] associated with this seduction, and the repression of this "locks" the individual into the delusional belief as a means of sustaining the Clinical_Denial of both the seducation and the fact that one has adopted a false identity.
Specific to your question, many homosexuals have successfully moved from a delusional belief to a more normal acceptance of their sexuality. There are many therapists specializing in this practice. If interested, you might check out NARTH on the internet.

There is a movement called "reparative therapy" that some radical evangelicals advocate for turning homosexuals into heterosexuals. You can find more information on this highly suspect practice at www.narth.org. It is regarded by the professional psychological community as ineffective and harmful to the patient. Rather than changing the sexual orientation of the individual it reinforces repression of one's true desires. Apparently most of the effect is not to change a person's orientation but to convince them to repress their feelings and become non-sexual.
In order to put yourself into the position of someone who goes through reparative therapy, imagine that you are forced to deny your desires for the opposite sex and try to cultivate homosexual desires. It that repulsive? It must be equally repulsive to a homosexual person who is trying to be heterosexual.
Can a homosexual turn into a heterosexual? No reputable mental health providers think so. Just because someone refuses to practice their inherent sexuality does not change it.

Depends on who you talk to. Homosexuals say they're born that way and they can't control who they're sexually attracted to, so the answer would be no. However, the Religious Right claims that homosexuality is a choice, so you can choose to be gay or choose to be straight. Personally, I think it's possible but it would be very difficult. The behavior can be changed with a lot of work, but the desire may still be there...

Yes, it is possible, and it happens, frequently (unlike what the gay agenda through the liberal media shoves at us day in and day out).

it really is an rather good question. It brings us to the nature or nurture question. in case you've faith that sexual selection is all in the biology then you definately might want to argue adversarial to God having something to do with it. in case you've faith that sexual selection is all in the nurture, the ambience, the upbringing then you definately might want to argue that God might want to have something to do with it. Scientists have self assurance that sexual selection is a effect of both biology and ecosystem. seem at twins that were separated at beginning and are both gay as an get at the same time. yet, you're asking if God can replace someone. i don't think of that someone can replace their organic, innate force. they could bypass to church, have self assurance that homosexuality is inaccurate (which i do no longer imagine it truly is...it exists in nature: giraffes couple with same sex companions) and then attempt to suppress their desires or needs. yet no, i do no longer imagine that God has a hand in choosing someone's' sexual orientation: it is all in the genes.
