He says he did it. He apologized for it. He said he "loves" JonBenet and her death was an accident. He claims to have authored correspondence with the Ramsey family and a documentary director that detailed the event more than he could have known if he wasn't her killer. Still, there is a nagging feeling in me that he is lying. He is too pretty boy/intelligent. I'm not saying he is innocent of any crime. I believe that he is a known pedophile with a history of posession of child porn, according to all reports. However, if he were in Thailand and got caught abusing a child there, he would face a lot worse of a sentence and inhumane treatment than he could get here. He is returning to the US with his face on every tv screen and even with his confession he may well get off the hook for lack of evidence when he recants his story and says he didn't do it. Is the US willing to extradite him back to Thailand in order to stand charges for something he did there if he didn't kill JonBenet?

JMK is not psychologically sound...
1) he is a pedophile, fired from his job as a sub. teacher for "being too affectionate" with students and had child porn in his possession as well as prior marriages and pregnancies with underage girls...
2) he had an obsession-- he thought like the killer for the research, he "became" the killer, and now he's stuck...

Personally, i still think Patsy Ramsey (the mother) did it [remember the random note and how it partially matched her handwriting] -- she was crazy in living her failed Miss America dreams through her daughter, essentially destroying jonbenet's childhood. Even though jonbenet was only six, she could have still spoken up and said she wanted out. Patsy got pissed, killed her, assaulted her, planted DNA, and framed a guy, possibly JMK or even her husband.

I think for him to be in Thailand, a place where anybody can have sex with children and anybody else for very cheap is suspicious, along with the fact that he was a second grade school teacher, and knows a lot of unique information that only someone involved would know...yeah. I don't blame him, though, I personally think he's mentally ill. I think he was at the Christmas party and never left, hid until everyone was asleep, and then did what he did. It's a shame, she was such a beautiful, sweet, successful little child. What a hanus thing to do; to rape, beat, bind, and kill an innocent little six-year-old. It's sick.

This guy is totally creepy. Whether he did it or whether he "confessed" to it to get attention or somehow become involved in the case (they report he was pretty obsessed with JonBenet, and with little girls in general) he's a certified whackjob. His story so far doesn't add up though. How could strangling someone be an accident? And he wrote that he "loved" her and they were "lovers."

Yikes. We just have to wait it out, because the story changes every few hours!

He says he drugged her. the autopsy says no drugs.
He also supposedly wrote a paper about her in college or something so he would know things sbout her. The media mixes things up so much.He also said he couldnt be charged with 1st degree murder because it was an accident NOT that he killed her, there is a difference.
Part of me is not so sure either. Esp. since his ex wife says he was home ( how do you remeber details that far back....? )
I think he may have lived out some sick fantasy that has led him to believe he did it , even though he didnt.Thats where I am today with it.

The DNA will be the deciding factor. Is he a crazy killer or an insane wanna be killer? If I had to guess, I'd say he didn't do it. Why the hell would a person admit to such a horrendous act.

He's giving press conferences! No one is forcing him to have a press conference or answer as "I'm so sorry". This guy's a nut job and the Colorado DAs are idiots. You watch, this is going to fizzle out.

I really dont know who killed her. because John Mark Karr turned him self in but his ex wife and her family say that at the time of the murder he was in alabama with them. its so sad that such a pretty little girl died like that and no one has found the killer. Someone has to go to jail but it should be the killer not someone who say that they did it. No one should say that he is guilty or innocent. We should see if anything comes around that he is the real killer, and if he isnt Who could it be?

nope I think the father payed him 10 years ago and said 'in ten years u have to say u killed my daughter' and plus the fathers hair was on the tape that covered her mouth...and the man who "confessed" wife says he was with her during the time of the murder! But if it is true that John killed her i feel sorry that JonBenet's parents were accused and her mom had to suffer with this.

I don't think he did it. The evidence as we know it don't match up with what we've been told so far. Drugs? Accident - How do you hit somebody in the head like that and it be an accident? All this went on inside the home and no one knew it? No one heard him come in or out? I think he's just researched it so much that has convinced himself that he did it! He's a strange cookie, no doubt!

it relatively is no longer looking stable.Yeah,i comprehend what he says and that he's apologizing for it and that he enjoyed her and blah, blah, blah, and all. yet to my awareness he became into locked up in Thailand no longer for any crimes committed there yet on our (u . s .) request. i think of I even examine he became into rather lots to start a sparkling coaching interest there in Thailand It became into our government asked his arrest per counsel gained from college of Colorado professor Michael Tracy who has been swapping emails with John Karr for the final 4 years. it relatively is commencing to seem, together with his being packed with mis-counsel,and all, and with the testimony of his ex- spouse, Karr would be extra a head case and could no longer, in certainty, be as in charge as first indicated. no remember what, in charge or no longer, they might desire to convict him. If for no different reason than getting each and every-physique's hopes up that the ten 12 months previous secret is nearing an end. i assume we are going to easily would desire to hold in and spot what occurs.

I'm not sure yet, although his ex-wife stated today that it was impossible for him to have commited the murder because he was with her and their child that night in Alabama. She goes on to talk about how much she dislikes him (Karr) and that he is not sane, but she knows he wasn't even in the area. I think this guy is either wanting back into the Us for free, and that he is sick and wants to be in some way involved with this event.
