The belief that cats have nine lives comes from the fact that cats have a tendency to get in life-threatening danger on a regular basis, yet nearly always come out of it unharmed. That's why people started saying that.

I wish.Now i'm going to go cry over my cat.For real .It was like losing a family member.He was fairly old but still......

In vietnam, people usually eat cat's meat.
I've been there and saw several times the methods on how they slaughter cats. Cats usually die on the first hit.
