then they came to institute TIPS, the " Terrorism Information and Prevention System," recruiting citizens to spy on other citizens, and I didn't speak up because I was afraid.
Then they came to institute Total Information Awareness, collecting private data on every man, woman and child in America, and I didn't speak up because I couldn't do anything about it.
Then they came for immigrants and students from selective countries luring them under the requirement of "special registration" as a ruse to seize them and detain them, and I didn't speak up because I was not required to register.
Then they came for anyone who objected to government policy because it only aided the terrorists and gave ammunition to America's enemies and I didn't speak up . . . because I didn't speak up.
Then they came for me and by that time no one was left to speak up for me....

There's a problem when you give up your rights, even if you give them up a little at a time.

The Weak Sisters will NEVER, I repeat, NEVER, stop thinking that guns are bad, bad, bad!

They have a mental block on the subject and you've nailed it cleanly. The block is that they think that crime isn't going to happen to THEM so they don't mind if the population is disarmed.

They also have obviously not looked at the post-gun ban gun crime statistics out of Britain and Australia. In both countries gun crime rose substantially after the good guys were disarmed.

I fail to understand just how it is that being unarmed is a good idea when, for instance, you arrive home after a day of work to find some monster raping your wife at gunpoint. In my opinion, running away (to save yourself) and calling the police (in the vain hope that they will catch the perp) is a pretty impotent response.

That is scarey. Then you have a totatiarian regime
That is what they have in the other countries.
But look at the other countries Syria is about broke, the economy is in ruins. Iran isn't it a lot better shape and North Korea is about gone from the floods.'
People should look at how well those governments run.
Like Dr. Phil says: How is it working for you?

You have changed many of the words to this. It was first put out durring the Nazi reign in Germany in the 1930s.
Nice try to make it look like it is the U.S. government doing all the wrong things. Better luck next time.

NSA eavesdropping program ruled unconstitutional

Just out check CNN.com

The ACLU has spoke up against this and a federal judge has ruled it in violation of a whole laundry list of stuff.

One violation down, many to go to bring freedom back to this nation.
