Begin by teaching your children that people are equal and stop treating others as if they are lesser human beings. Show them the way, by treating others with respect (most, sometimes stupid people make it hard). Don't hate, it's the lazy way of not getting to know people.

The best way to handle a bully is to let the person or entity know you know they are very insecure, but that you're not impressed by sadistic games. Bullies are restless and do not understand the word "peace" - they interpret peace as weakness.

Sure sure to get involved if you know it's happening either with your child or not. Get on the teachers butts for it and make sure they do something about it. Go straight to the school board and police if you have to. Don't ever let it go.
