Mets. 12 game lead right now in the NL East, have had a double digit lead for over 2 months now , with a winning record against every division , home and away and have a solid 5 man rotation, even with Pedro out on the 15 day DL.
Great defense, team batting average, middle relievers and a closer. Another bonus - Willie Randolph (manager) spent over 25 years in the Yankees org and knows how to win in the playoffs.
And I dont see another NL team close to them, nor do I see any team beating the Mets, with home field advantage (as of now) until the World Series.

The dodgers appear to be one of the best teams at this time. But, I'm guessing by your name that if I say that the Oakland A's are the best, I might get 10 points.

The Dodgers had won 17 out of their last 18 games until last night's loss to the Marlins. That is pretty hard to top.

I know my favorite team isn't fairing too well but they still are my favorite and that if the Boston Red Sox, at this time I saw on the sports channell that the Yankees are on the hot trail

Yankees are the hottest right now!! Tigers were the hottest but they are gonna fade. Sorry Tigers fans, but thats my opinion
