If so to what extent? (I think one of the parents has passed since the murder.)

I feel very badly for this family and what they have been through. I do believe everyone thought they were guilty. What a heavy burden to carry, they lose a beloved child and the world looks at them as the murderers.

The media chooses stories to sink their teeth into and they go out for blood. Unfortunately, I don't think you will ever get an apology from them.

I hope the family can eventually start to heal and I hope that JonBonet and her mother, Patsy, rest in peace.

To the guy who actually committed this crime, a teacher, I hope he gets what he has coming. But, considering our judicial system, I doubt it.

I'm still not convinced it was this guy who murdered Jon Benet, but I do think the press owes an apology to the parents, although the girls mother died this summer, they could give it to the father and in memory of the mother. The police, however they might have messed up the case (as some media has stated) I feel do not owe apologies for they were only doing their jobs. It's the media who have made such a circus of this awful tragedy

Yes, I do believe that they should be given an apology. I think it should be as public as the accusations and rumors. Have all the tabloids print on their front page that the parents are innocent and the publishers were wrong. Do I believe that it will happen? Probably not. Scandals sells, not apologies. Let us just hope that people will remember that they found a suspect who may be the guilty person.

Mrs Ramsey lost her battle with cancer and has since passed away.

But my answer is No, I do not believe they should be given any apology. I have my own beliefs about this case and feel that they covered up the truth, inspite of their heartache over the loss of their little girl.

Nothing is proven yet, but if it is proven a public apology should be in order, and yes Patsy Ramsey passed away from ovarian cancer.
