Are u guys retarded? He means 16 ties. Record wise they would be the same because a 0-0-1 team has a .500 winning percantage. Schedule would determine it but then again an 0-0-16 team is undeafeted : )

They guy who said the 0-0-16 team would get the 1st pick in the next year's draft is wrong. From a draft order standpoint, 0-0-16 is just as good as 8-8. Each gets 16 points (assuming 2 for a win, and 1 for a tie).

Any record worse than 8-8 would select before an 0-0-16 record.

I'd have to say the 8-8 record is better. I would assume that in at least a few of those wins, your team played a great game and overpowered the opponent. I understand the scores at the end of the season are the same, but it's obvious that a team with 8 wins has intangibles that a team with no wins does not have.

An 8-8 team would be. The 0-0-16 team would have won no games and lost no games, but the 8-8 team would have won and lost games and would have the chance to win in the play offs and maybe win the super bowl.

The teams would technically be equal in the standings, but 8-8 is the better position. To tie every game would become frustrating and demoralizing to a team over the season. Knowing just one or two actual wins puts you into the playoffs is agonizing in that circumstance.

Technically, you're undefeated at 0-0-16 but I doubt the players would see it that way.

0-0-16 Is the better situation in the NFL. At least you would get the first pick in the draft the next year. 8-8 you are mediocre and are in the middle of the draft. 0-0-16 may be worse for that year, but better for your teams future.

If ur in the NFC then 8-8 is better b/c ur playoff bound but in the AFC u are better off 0-0-16 to get a good draft pick

16 tie games would be freakin' hilarious....I don't know because they haven't won any games or lost any but their win percentage is still 0%...at least the 8-8 team has 50%...I would say the 8-8 team is the better team because of that...
