QUESTION:
Cons/Repubes, will you SUPPORT the DEATH PENALTY for Bush/Cheney?
ANSWER:
Nope I think liberal tax dollars need to used to keep them permanently on Death Row! Funny thing that you libs are opposed to the death penalty but have no problems aborting an innocent child b/c it hampers your immoral lifestyles.
I wonder what the abortion rate would be if gays could become pregnant?
I'm sorry but this makes me sick! I have met people who call themselves christian They dont say THAT .That kind of language
Sounds like an "immoral lifestyle" just using it.
Some Democrats DO stand against a woman's right to choose, but if you were pregnant, would you want Bush to force you to carry it to term. How about a back-alley abortion?
And WHAT kind of mental deragemnet is required to "wonders" what the abortion rate would be if gays could get pregnant?
Gag. What actual followers of Christ's philosophy would call that
"peace love and tolerance"?
How very Christian of him to say that.

Some christians do what they want, i think in case of the US government they use the guise of religion to gain extra support from the christian community.

You're mixing politics and religion if you think that guy speaks for anything other than ignorance. He's obviously bought into conservative dogma, which is mired in religious words, but in no way speaks for the church. No, that is not an example of christian love and tolerance. To be fair, you didn't address it to christians, you addressed it to Cons/Repubes. By using a derogatory term from the git, I'm guessing you were looking for a fight anyway- you found one. What's the problem?

how about if people let thier RELIGION tell them that abortion is wrong instead of thier Government... is it the government's job to be the catch all for a bunch of mindless unthinking sheep?
Or at least- if not some religion, how about a personal respect for a baby's life. I am against abortion, i just don't like trusting an incompetant goverment like we have now to make such serious laws, and have Republican guys like TOM DELAY funding places like SAIPAN MARIANAS ISLANDS in BAHAMAS (look it up) where the chinese girls are forced into day labor and prostition, forced abortions- and repeat cycle ON AMERICAN TERRITORY

No. What about the answer made you think they considered themselves Christian, because he is against abortion? Many people of many different faiths and even some people of no faith disapprove of the killing of the unborn. I see nothing in the answer that would imply the answerer is or claims to be a Christian.

This sounds very like the Fanatics side of christianity. Every religious group has them. They are used to get a point across for the rest of the group who don't really believe everything that they are taught, but want to be part of a group of "so called" believers. Tolerance has never been part of the christian way. Just look at history. They want you to be tolerant of them, but god help you if you want them to tolerate your beliefs.

some Christians are judgmental and illiberal as a results of fact they at the instant are not getting the spectacular counsel pertaining to to the Lord. Christians have been taught for hundreds of years to evangelise hell and damnation. i do no longer think of it is stable. It states good in the Bible "Thou shall no longer decide others till one has judged themselves." people who decide, have not found out humility. genuine Christians, following the word of the Lord do no longer decide. i think of too, it relatively is a cleansing soap container subject. they are properly versed in the Bible, yet they have twisted the meanings, to wholesome their own judgments. to no longer decide is complicated for all people. Praying on it, helps. i'm in a occupation the place the generic inhabitants will decide my team in a heart beat. notwithstanding, having to artwork with those human beings regular, and seeing what I see and listening to what I hear, i do no longer decide them. If I judged each and every inmate that got here into my penal complex, i does not be waiting to accomplish my interest applications suited. If a individual can supply up smoking, or exchange their weight loss application, or stop playing, then in addition they own the capability to no longer decide others. desire this helps. God Bless

Anybody can claim to be whatever they want. That in no way automatically make it so. Sooner or later an imposter's words and actions will betray them. So being the case, I refuse to condemn a whole category of people for what a minority of them are doing

Aren't all religions fundamentally cafeteria religions? You take what you want and leave the rest in the steamer....so it's very rare to find someone who follows all of the Bible...and what do you do when a situaton forces you to choose between two tenets of the religion?

what is your point hypocracy is a true Christian characteristic ,this is not news
you sound as confused as the rest of them .
get a simple life of pleasure and sin ,that will not be sin anymore love the Sun ,Earth and Moon ,(the Gods Gaia,Baal and Isis)and become a Pagan.
and al,of your frustrations will disappear.and religion will make sense again,
you may have to sacrifice something now and again ,
but it will be nothing compared the wholesale slaughter ,that the Christians get up to in far away places with strange sounding names.
Halleluyah

Here is another GREAT example of Christian love and tolerance. An answer I got from a Conservative:
"I think homosexuality is immoral and wrong. it spreads disease. Becuase of that you say I "HATE" I do not hate. I have an opinion of something.God is allowed to hate all he wants. it's his world,
and he plainly stated that he hates homosexuality.
And he plainly punished people for homosexuality.
and he did not say he wouldn't punish them again.
He did say he would forgive them if they came to know christ"
