JBR's father is still alive. I would be as happy as you are, if I believed Karr really did it. But his ex-wife claims he was with her that day, and he sounds like someone who likes the attention.

Hate to be mean, but ask yourself this question: Had her mother not shamelessly flaunted this baby in beauty contests, for whatever reasons mothers like that do that, would JBR be alive today???

The Mom died this past June, but the Dad is still alive.

I am happy they arrested someone, but some of the story is fishy. I'm not sure he is the killer or, at least, the only one who took part in the crime.

I'm not satisfied that the killer was actually found. I am holding judgement on that until all the facts are in. The case is complex and disturbing and needs more investigation, I think.

Hopefully we won't have to hear about this case for the NEXT 10 yrs. There are sooo many unresolved cases of the deaths of kids (or otherwise) to focus national attention on one little girl for a whole decade. We're talking f r o n t p a g e n e w s for ten whole years.......

I hope that they have found who the murderer is, but we won't know for sure until the DNA comes back. If it was Karr then I am as guilty as a lot of other people for believing that a family member was involved in it and I will ask GOD for forgiveness.

I thinks it's wonderful they finally caught that baby-raping killer. Only Patsy died, John is still alive, and I want to know why the f%*# it took so long to catch the @$!hole. If you go to msn.com there is some pretty interesting articles there to read.

First of all, don't put God into this. If "God" would have been such a nice dude, why did he wait 10 years? why did he let her die? You people make me laugh with "God".

Now, as for the suspect, it won't change anything. I'm happy to know someone will pay for their actions, but it won't change the fact that she's gone.

Yes I'm very happy. It's a shame they had suspicion on her parents thinking they were somehow involved which they weren't. I hope the killer gets the death sentence.

I guess I am happy that they found a suspect. It is possible that this guy may not be the one.... We will have to wait until they confirm evidence that he is truly the guilty party. The Mom was the only one who died. Keep your fingers crossed.

the dad is still living
and it's too soon to know if that guy is really the killer. sometimes, believe it or not, people confess to things they didn't really do. this guy said he drugged little jon benet, but the autopsy showed no signs that had happened. also, his ex wife states that he was with her in alabama at the time the murder happened (it was Christmas day, after all)
so, i do hope with you that the mystery is finally solved, but, it's too soon to tell
