Well now, I am pretty broad minded, and, I will admit I think that Smoking sucks in every way, but of course i defend a persons right in almost all circumstances.
But, I have often thought that if i had to depend on a persons judgement for my life I would not care to trust the judgement of a person who willingly draws smoke into their lungs when theey know of its harmful effects. does that make me a bad person?

I hope, for your sake, you're never in a life-threatening situation with nobody but a smoker around. Yeeeaaahh...that would suck for you.

its a cigarette,you have no scenario as far as judgment for YOUR life,that person in control of the judging,its not just the cigarette that is causing them harm,you have a better chance of dying or becoming injured in rush hour traffic for goodness sake,i couldn't believe the question when i read it but felt i had to answer because of the stupid comparison,what if that person in judgment was your best friend?and YOU run the risk of cancer by simply being within the suns light,that's harmful too.....doesnt make you a bad person,just consider EVERYTHING.

No, just a dumb one.
People make life-threatening decisions every day. The act of speeding is dangerous. So is rock climbing, parachuting, playing football, eating undercooked meat, etc. We take our lives in our hands everyday... so for you to find someone who appreciates life the way you seem to think you do would be a very hard search. It doesn't make you a bad person BUT there are still many doctors, nurses, etc. that smoke. While you may not choose a dr. who smokes, in the event of an emergency you just might get one.

What about thoses alcoholics who drink too much and then decide to drive. Or the really obese people who can not control how much they eat? Do yopuo really think that SMOKING will impair someoones judgement? I think Not!!!
