Believes in "true friendship" I know I do..Its hard nowadays to find someone who will not be jealous, or disloyal. Everyone has their own meaning of the word..I know what my definition is and its "someone who will be there for me throughout trials and tribulations, someone who is caring, understanding, helpful and considerate...I know one-day God will bless me with the type of friend that I am longing for! Is there anyone out there who is longing for the same?

Not many people are fortunate enough to have real true friends in their life. In my opinion, I think that a real true friend for life, will be your husband/partner for life. The shoulder to lean on when you cry, the friend that will help pick you up when your down no matter what, the friend that will be there for you no matter what, day or night, rain or shine, the person that will wipe away your tears, before it even hits the ground, your best friend, the one that you will wake up next to everyday for the rest of your life. Life could not get any better than that. So if youve found that one, be happy, dont let go, fight for it, live your life, and cherish your relationship with your friend.
There are soo many things in this world going on, that you dont know who to trust anymore. You best friend might turn your back on you, where your partner will alwats be beside you. When everything in your life falls apart, the people that you thougth were your friends, might walk out on you, when your partner will help you pick up those pieces, bit by bit. A true friend is someone that accepts you for who you are, loves you for who you are, loves you for who you have become, supports you no matter what, cheers you on, even when others boo you off, hes your right hand, your right foot. Hes your friend, throught thick and think, through those trials and triblutions, he will be there, walking next to you, all the way till the end. Falling with you, but helping you get up, slipping with you, but help raising you up. Hes your teacher, your companion, your supporter, your number one fan, but most of all, your best friend in the whole wide world!

Dear, people are people and many of them stink! That's life. You are going to meet all sorts of people as you make your way through life and some (very few) will be true friends. Most will be mere acquaintances and many will try and stab you in the back or just be plain mean and nasty. Like I said, that's life. If you get one or two true freinds in your life and you find one true love (eventually) then you will be ahead of the game, believe me! As for God blessing you with a friend, don't wait around for this to happen. Go out there and be prepared for anything, because again, you will meet many different types of people and chances are, you won't care much for most of them. Good luck!

Everybody wants that one true friend and there will be a time and a place where you will find them. You can't expect them just to show up and say hey im your best friend. Also if you have this best friend its going to feel more like a relationship between bf and gf, I mean small arguments over not important stuff, some anger when they choose somebody else over you. Just wait and your day will come.

Yes. The only person I believe you have a "true" friendship with is your spouse.... among other things. lol Seriously though, even my best friend that I grew up with, hasn't been much of a friend to me in the "adult" years. Everything feels like a competition in our lives.
